Your Favorite Movie Stars Come to Life in Movie Stars Cafe

When entering Movie Stars Cafe, one must be prepared for a festive dining atmosphere. There's no door fee and you get to see your favorite movie characters and watch them in action! Kids would definitely get frantic with all the visual spectacle Movie Stars Cafe offers.  Movie Stars Cafe, located in the Seaside Blvd., Mall of Asia, is a movie memorabilia studio slash cafe and restaurant. Talk about entertainment!

Characters in full costume are a common sight, even the waiters are dressed as movie characters. Guests can take all the photos they want. But wait till the show started, it's a spectacle you wouldn't expect to find here. The shows are scheduled with intervals of 15 minutes.

Not only this cafe make movie characters come to life, their menu also features move-inspired dishes. The prices are pretty reasonable.  You can go a la cartê, or eat your heart out at the Dino Buffet for Php699 per head while being entertained.

Not only kids will enjoy, but movie fanatics will surely find this place a haven as movies memorabilia surround the cafe. It's kind of nostalgic being in this place. It's like Disneyland where you are free to be a kid again. Yan took a photo with Darth Vader, my sister and I went for the badass Marvel characters,  while Mom and dad too didn't miss the photo opportunity.

I honestly didn't expect much from the shows, but I was really surprised when I found myself amazed watching the musicals. If I remember it correctly, we saw a total of six shows. After the show finale, they would just repeat the whole set. My favorites were Beauty and the Beast and Spiderman (stunts will surprise you!).  The props and effects were not bad at all for an "unpaid" show. Filipino talent is truly something we can all be proud of. My nephew had so much fun! The best part was children get to participate during the final show for the set. It's really a place for kids and kids at heart. It was a fun night, and worth our bucks.

Movie Stars Cafe isn't your typical restaurant cafe. It can be really noisy. It's not ideal for intimate get-together's as you won't be able to hear each other most of the time.

It is recommended to make a reservation as the place can get really packed especially on weekend. Coming early is also an advantage to see all the shows, and so kids can warm up first with the surrounding (it can get overwhelming) and enjoy the place and the characters before the shows begin.

I hope you would enjoy as much as our family did. ♡

  1. Movies have been the source of entertainment from a long time, but these days they are impacting us more than ever. One can always bring up the horrifying rise in teen promiscuity.
